CARNIVAL OF LIGHTS
As a part of christmas2022 and new year celebrations 2023 ,the state government lighted up the entire area of kanakakunnu palace grounds attracting tons of people to the city.
Since it was organised as a part of Christmas ,the theme included reindeers , santa claus and bells.
The city attracted a whole lot of people including people from all age groups …along with lights ,entertainment programs was arranged in nishagandi open air auditorium and a flower show was also held as part of the programs.
If you are excited and wanna enjoy the lights ,better head to city at around afternoon because a immense crowd is flooding the city everyday and parking is a major isssue!
The lights of the city was compared with the famous yearly light up of london city and even though kanakakunnu palace grounds was similarly lighted up for onam every year ,this is the first time for Christmas!
